The second domum building is located in the historic centre of Porto. The main aim of the intervention was to restore the Fernandina Wall to our city, i.e. to make visible the section of the wall that was originally designed to be visible, thus maintaining the main identity element that characterises this building and associating it with other contemporary elements, allowing an interesting and harmonious dialogue to be established between the old and the new. This building includes three flats: two studio flats, each with capacity for two people; and one one-bedroom duplex flat, with capacity for four people.
This one bedroom duplex apartment was developed in the two last floors of the building, facing the front of the street. Wooden floor was applied throughout the apartment providing its full soundproofing, in order to provide a more comfortable and cosy stay.
The entrance floor contemplates a living area prepared with a sofa bed and a fully furnished dining area for a pleasant and convenient use. The kitchen, which also integrates this floor, is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. In this floor has also a bathroom.
The upper floor offers a large sleeping area composed by a very cosy room with a king size bed, as well as a bathroom with a contemporary language in order to answer the demands of today. It is equipped with towels, amenities and hair dryer.
It also offers iron and ironing board on request, no extra fee charges. At your disposal, you have Wi-Fi throughout the apartment, air conditioner and a LED FULL HD television.
